Applications

Seed Treatment

Treating seeds is arguably the most targeted and effective way of delivering our microbial consortia. Having the microbes as close to the seed at germination as possible gives the greatest potential for influence and success. Seed treatment technology has come a long way in the last couple of decades, and now delivers environmental, economic and hence societal benefits, making this particular application technology one of the best tools for sustainable agriculture.

Drench

Certain crops of focus, namely tomato and leafy vegetables, are treated with drench products as standard practice. For these crops BioConsortia is developing microbial consortia into liquid formulations. The AMS process can be tailored to identify microbes suited best for a drench application.

Granule

Granule products offer growers the efficiency and convenience of a dry product. We are currently developing a granule formulation for certain microbial consortia with a third party collaborator.
